Energy powers our world, but it’s people who build the future.

The people who power our energy systems drive America’s progress—fueling our economy, securing our infrastructure, and sparking innovation nationwide.
Building Education for Energy Campaign

What is Building Education for Energy (BEE)?
BEE is an energy workforce campaign to prepare for the most critical industrial transition in American history.
Mission: Our mission is to inspire, educate, and mobilize the next generation of energy leaders and professionals.
We are a connection point for schools, communities, tribal nations, states, industry, and government by creating energy media and curricula, knowledge sharing, and best practices, so that energy not as an abstract concept, but as a real, rewarding function that powers economic futures and resilience.
Vision:
Building strong education and awareness campaigns that inspire and illuminate the benefits of energy, empower the future workforce, including tribal nations and communities across every state and region, to enter and thrive in the energy industry.
As a nonprofit organization, we address a critical gap in energy awareness and workforce development through two pillars: education and community engagement.
What We Build
Intelligence-driven Energy Campaigns - We gather insights from learners, educators, communities, industry, and national security sectors, then create and deploy targeted education and recruitment campaigns that serve everyone's needs.
Trust-building At Scale - We transform public perception through culturally relevant media and authentic storytelling. Our curriculum and learning experiences:
-
Clarify complex energy and power technologies
-
Humanize energy workers and trades
-
Dispel fear and misinformation
-
Build trust and visibility across all communities
-
Showcase opportunities in nuclear and other power fields
Our current campaign movement is a strategic push to elevate public understanding of nuclear power’s transformative potential as a catalyst for national resilience, technological advancement, and generational prosperity.
Pipeline & Talent Activation - Rather than funding programs directly, we galvanize support for the initiatives that empower emerging talent and build high-impact job opportunities for the energy industry: STEM education, trade and vocational training, job transition and interdisciplinary programs.
We unlock hidden talent in America's energy heartland - regions where power plants, wind farms, and infrastructure create thousands of opportunities that locals don't even know exist. We reach students during middle school, that critical moment when career paths are chosen and futures are shaped.
BEE engineers a future-ready energy workforce by activating a nationwide support network
across education, industry, innovation, defense, space, and community organizations.
